Ride A Pet Pets: Documented Roster and Base Stats (September 2026)
The documented Ride A Pet pet roster with hatch chance, base speed, base jump, base income, and weight, plus egg odds and how Age and mutations change live stats. Community-documented data — recheck after updates.
There are 30 pets documented in Ride A Pet as of mid-September 2026, from the Snail (1 in 2 hatch chance) up to the Kitsune (1 in 1Qi). The table below lists each one's hatch chance, base speed, base jump, base income, and weight. This roster is community-documented, not an official dev list, and an update adding more content was scheduled, so treat it as the currently known roster rather than a guaranteed-final one.

A couple of values are currently inconsistent across community reporting: Cheetah base income appears as 3,500 in most writeups but 3,200 in one gameplay guide, Giraffe income is reported as both 1,200 and 2,200, and the Horse's exact spot in the speed ladder is contested. Read each pet's in-game stat card before equipping to confirm the live value.
What each stat on a pet card means
Pet cards use four numbers to describe value: hatch chance, base speed, base jump, and base income. Hatch chance is how often the pet appears, from 1 in 2 at the bottom to quintillions-to-one at the top. Base speed is the stat that gates map progress, since faster pets reach rarer eggs. Base jump controls vertical reach and terrain clearance. Base income is what a pet generates while placed on your plot, funding radars, food, and Hatch Luck upgrades. Pet cards also list a base weight. Community references conflict here: most roster tables use 10kg for each listed pet, while some recorded stat cards show much larger weights, so verify weight on the live in-game card.
Verified egg sources
Only a few acquisition routes are documented with per-pet odds. The Robux instant-hatch Dragon Egg rolls Crocodile, Fox, T-Rex, Phoenix, and Dragon:
Data table
| Source | Pet | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Robux instant-hatch Dragon Egg (Shop gacha) | Crocodile | 50% |
| Robux instant-hatch Dragon Egg | Fox | 30% |
| Robux instant-hatch Dragon Egg | T-Rex | 15% |
| Robux instant-hatch Dragon Egg | Phoenix | 4% |
| Robux instant-hatch Dragon Egg | Dragon | 1% |
| Free Galaxy Egg (map spawn) | Dragon | ~1% |
You are buying attempts, not the pet. The per-egg pools for the other pets in the roster are not documented, so check the egg pool in-game when you hatch.
Horse, Index, and pet slots context
One special note: the Horse is documented as more than a stat entry — you need one in your collection to unlock Rebirth, which reportedly doubles your income. Your ranch has 5 pet slots (shown as PETS 5/5 on the HUD), and rebirth adds capacity with a +1 slot reward. Every new pet, egg, and mutation you hatch registers in the Index (with Pets, Eggs, and Mutations tabs), and collection milestones pay cash — community guides report early Index rewards of $1,000 and $5,000 that must be claimed manually. Register a new species in the Index before selling it; the Index keeps the discovery forever even after the pet is sold.
Age, EXP, and live stat growth versus base stats
Every hatched pet begins at Age 1, and as it stays placed on your base it gains EXP naturally over time to reach the next Age. You can also give pets EXP directly by feeding food items purchased from the Food Shop (Grass, Bone, Meat, Magic Apple, Dragonfruit). Critters of higher Age possess greater earnings-per-second as well as movement speed. This means a pet's live on-screen numbers (for example, a Snake read at 4.22k speed or a Phoenix fed to 3.78 million) reflect Age, EXP, and mutation multipliers stacked on top of the base values — compare the base stat table above when deciding whether a hatch is an upgrade, and read the pet's card before equipping. Mutations (such as Shocked at x2 speed, observed on a Chicken and on a Capybara going from ~$18/s to ~$57/s after Volted) are separate modifiers layered on the base stats.
Data freshness and verification notes
These figures reflect the roster as community sources documented it around mid-September 2026, and the developer has an update scheduled (reported as September 19) that adds more content, so the roster and stat values should be rechecked after any patch lands. The developer does not publish an official pet list, drop table, or stat sheet; the figures above come from community wiki pages and gameplay recordings, and the most reliable in-game check is opening a pet and reading its stat card before equipping it. Silhouettes for undiscovered pets in the Index are the cleanest in-game way to see what remains in the egg pool.
